Let me level with you: the time for Republican hesitation is over. The Senate has done its job and passed the president’s tax cut legislation—the Big Beautiful Bill—a historic, pro-growth, middle-class-relief package designed to unshackle American workers, small businesses, and families from the oppressive tax-and-spend policies of the past. And now it’s the House’s turn.

House Republicans, it’s time to get off the sidelines and vote like you’re in the majority—because you are.

This isn’t a moment for grandstanding, ideological perfectionism, or scoring points on X (formerly known as Twitter). This is about delivering real relief to the American people. It’s about ensuring that our economy doesn’t stumble back into the high-tax, low-growth quicksand we fought so hard to escape.

Let me put it plainly: if the House fails to pass this bill, the result is not a return to the drawing board with unicorns and rainbows. It’s a default back to the scheduled tax hikes already baked into the sunset provisions from the last round of cuts. That means:

  • Tax rates across all brackets (That means EVERYONE NOT JUST THE RICH)
  • The return of the death tax in full force
  • A gut-punch to small business deductions
  • Punitive rates on capital gains and dividends
  • The end of expanded child tax credits and standard deductions

Every working family will feel it. Every small business owner. Every retiree drawing on a pension or IRA.

The Big Beautiful Bill may not be everything every Republican wants—but it’s the best deal we can get with the votes we have. The perfect cannot become the enemy of the good, especially when the stakes are this high.

Let’s remember, Republicans control both chambers of Congress. If we can’t pass a tax cut with a Republican House, Republican Senate, and a Republican President eager to sign it by July 5, 2025, then we’ve lost the plot.

We were sent to Washington to deliver—not to debate ourselves into irrelevance. If some House members want to nitpick the margins, fine—but do that after we lock in this generational win.

This bill makes the Trump-era cuts permanent, slashes corporate rates further to stay globally competitive, expands opportunity zones, enhances 529 education savings, and gives American families more of their paycheck back. It even includes a smart cap on IRS funding increases and administrative overreach—a quiet but vital victory for liberty-minded conservatives.

Do we really want to hand the Democrats a talking point that Republicans couldn’t even pass a tax cut when they had the majority? Do we want the Wall Street Journal editorial page asking why a GOP-run House couldn’t keep its fiscal house in order?

President Trump has said it clearly—this is his bill. It’s our bill. And more importantly, it’s America’s tax cut.

We don’t need more delay. We need discipline. We need unity. And we need a House GOP that governs like a majority, not a squabbling caucus of lone wolves.

The eyes of the country are watching. The economy is waiting. And the president is standing by with a pen.

Pass the Big Beautiful Bill—before the big ugly tax hikes pass us by.
