The club president is at the helm, overseeing club meetings and ensuring that all activities align with the club’s mission and objectives. The President’s leadership is pivotal in guiding the club’s strategy and fostering an environment where Republican values thrive.
Serving as the President’s right hand, the Vice President acts as a backup and is tasked with candidate coordination. This role is essential, especially during election cycles, as it involves liaising with Republican candidates, providing them support, and ensuring their campaigns align with the club’s goals.
The 2nd Vice President plays a key role in the club’s political engagement, compiling a list of candidates in the primary who will receive the club’s endorsements. This process is vital for consolidating the club’s support and resources behind candidates who best represent the club’s values and objectives.
Responsible for digital technology, the 3rd Vice President focuses on leveraging digital platforms to enhance the club’s reach and engagement. This role is increasingly vital in today’s digital age, where effective communication and outreach can significantly impact the club’s visibility and influence.
The Communications Secretary is tasked with documenting meeting minutes and developing a communications plan for the club. This role ensures that members are well-informed about club activities, decisions, and upcoming events, maintaining transparency and fostering an inclusive club environment.
Lastly, the Treasurer is responsible for the club’s financial health, managing books, receiving money, and overseeing other duties related to the club’s finances. This role is crucial for ensuring the club’s operations are sustainable and that resources are allocated efficiently to support the club’s activities and goals.
Together, these officers form the backbone of the Montgomery County Republican Club, each contributing their skills and dedication to advance the club’s mission and support the Republican cause within Montgomery County and beyond.
Mark Uncapher, President
Mark Uncapher, is serving President of the Montgomery County Republican Club. Mark is a long-time party activist who previously served as the Chairman of the Montgomery County Republican Central Committee.
In his day job, Mark is Director of the Fiber Optic Sensing Association and served on the Board of Directors for the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority. He is a member of the New York State and DC Bar and is a graduate of New York Law School and George Washington University.
Jackie Sackstein, Vice President
Jackie is a graduate of the George Washington University School of Business. She currently works in marketing operations and lives in Potomac with her two dogs.
Matthew Foldi, 2nd Vice President
Matthew Foldi is an experienced, conservative investigative reporter. He has broken some of the biggest stories exposing the corruption of the Biden Administration, which have led to multiple Congressional investigations.

Susan is the Communications Secretary for the Montgomery County Republican Club. Susan was elected Vice-President of the Chevy Chase Women’s Republican Club, the oldest and largest Republican Women’s club in Montgomery County.
Don Irvine, Treasurer
Don Irvine is the chairman of Accuracy in Academia. He is the son of Reed Irvine, who launched AIM in 1969 and developed an understanding of media bias at an early age. He has been actively involved with AIM for more than 30 years.
Meet the board
The Board of Directors of the Montgomery County Republican Club comprises eleven distinguished members, each serving a term of six years. These board members are elected by the club’s paid members who have actively participated in the club’s activities over the preceding twenty-four months. To qualify for a position on the board, candidates must have attended at least four meetings within a calendar year. Following their election, the Board of Directors elects the club’s executive officers, including the President, Vice President, 2nd Vice President, 3rd Vice President, Communications Secretary, and Treasurer, ensuring the club’s leadership is in capable hands.
