In early 2005, Ann Coulter rattled the Left when she wrote a book titled “If Democrats Had Any Brains, They’d Be Republicans,” and more famously, “Liberalism Is a Mental Disorder.” Back then, the media called her crazy, outrageous, and provocative. Fast forward to 2025—and it turns out she was just a prophet with a sharp pen.

We now live in a country where everything once called common sense is now considered hate speech, and everything once called delusion is now celebrated. Up is down. Right is wrong. Truth is offensive. And mental illness? Well, that’s now called “lived experience.”

Let me make this clear from the outset: I don’t hate gay people. I’m not one of those fire-breathing caricatures the Left loves to create. I believe adults can make their own choices, and if two men or two women want to spend their lives together, that’s their prerogative. I don’t have to celebrate it, but I’m not out here trying to undo Obergefell either.

But the line must be drawn when it comes to this transgender madness.

We’ve gone from “live and let live” to full-on societal delusion. Boys claiming to be girls. Girls pretending to be boys. Biological reality tossed out the window in favor of pronouns, TikTok identities, and hormone prescriptions for kids who aren’t even old enough to choose their own snack at the grocery store.

When I was four, I wanted to be a fireman. At five, a policeman. At seven, Tony Stark. No one gave me a firehose, a badge, or an Iron Man suit. But now we’re handing out puberty blockers to second graders and calling that “compassion”? That’s not compassion. That’s child abuse.

You wouldn’t let your child drive a car at 6. You wouldn’t let them vote or get a tattoo. But somehow, we’re being told a 5-year-old can make life-altering decisions about their gender? Sorry—not sorry—that’s insane.

As a Catholic and a Republican, I believe in truth. I believe in science—real science, not the kind rewritten on Tumblr. And I believe God created us male and female, not “assigning” gender like it’s a raffle ticket. There’s nothing compassionate about affirming mental illness. There’s nothing virtuous about mutilating healthy children. And there’s nothing tolerant about forcing the rest of us to participate in the lie.

We’ve become a society afraid to say what we know in our bones to be true: that gender dysphoria is a psychological condition that needs treatment, not affirmation. Instead, liberals are pushing an ideology that tells confused kids to amputate healthy body parts and sterilize themselves—all in the name of identity politics.

And if you speak out? You’re called a bigot, a Nazi, or worse. Just ask the Catholic teachers being fired for refusing to use made-up pronouns, or the parents being labeled “domestic terrorists” for questioning trans policies in schools. The only thing more unhinged than the ideology itself is the rage that meets anyone who challenges it.

We need to restore traditional values. We need to bring back the idea that not every feeling is valid, not every whim deserves a flag, and not every delusion deserves validation. We don’t need to bully kids. We don’t need to shame people struggling with mental health. But we do need to stop pretending that truth is hate.

Because if we don’t—if we keep heading down this road—there won’t be anything left to recognize in the country we once knew.

God made us male and female. Biology confirms it. Reason affirms it. And history will remember who had the courage to say it.

It’s time to draw the line.
